There was another Walku...I'm glad you posted... There was another Walkush/Walkusz Family in the area. My family also came from Stezyca. Johann Walkusz and Josephine Domaszk who had two children... Pauline born in 1854 and Anton Theophil born in 1864. The family came to America Jun 16, 1866 and landed in New York. You can find the ship record by searching for "Walkass". Pauline Walkusz married Lawrence Woytasik around 1872 in the Steven's Point Area. (It's said the church burned with those records.)
