My late cousin was a genealogist and through her global travels and research of our Swain family ancestry (back in the 1990's) she found that Richard Swain's wife was Elizabeth Ann "Bazil" Saunders (Bazil is a nickname for Elizabeth -lizab backwards)and that it was misspelled phonetically on documents many times as Bazille, Bassell, etc. "Bazil" came over first with their youngest children on the "Planter", followed by the oldest 2 sons, William and Francis, on the "Rebecca", and then Richard on the "Truelove". My cousin was unfortunately unable to trace "Bazil"'s family back further than that before she passed. shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17735411878335378803noreply@blogger.com
